The Children’s Place was founded in 1969 in Hartford, Connecticut by David Pulver and Clinton Clark.
In the early 1980’s, The Children’s Place was established as the exclusive retailer of children’s clothing for newborns and pre-teens, and began offering private label merchandise as well as branded products.
The Children’s Place Store also currently sells a variety of footwear for children.
