The humble beginnings of Shoe Groupies began in 2009 when Dion finally realized her dream and advanced her passion for both fashion and shoes by launching an online shoe business that sold unique and difficult-to-find footwear.
In August 2012, Shoe Groupie launched their first store in Oakland, California’s chic uptown/downtown neighborhood. Given the area’s hip art-infused culture, this was a natural fit. The styles of Shoe Groupie are greatly influenced by fashion, glam modernism, and city life.
